Facebook’s stock is going up. Is that the end of the world?
Facebook’s market cap has increased by almost $6 billion since the company reported fourth-quarter earnings.
And analysts have already begun to suggest that Facebook’s future is bright.
“Facebook has done quite well and is now showing signs of momentum,” analyst Ben Thompson wrote on Monday in a note to investors.
“There is no question that its core businesses, like advertising and social, are performing well, and its products, like WhatsApp, Messenger and Facebook Messenger, are growing very quickly.”
Twitter’s stock rose by more than 3% after the company announced a deal with Alibaba.
That means Twitter is now worth about $1.4 billion, according to FactSet.
Twitter’s market capitalization is now $38.5 billion.
