How to keep a sense of humor in the face of death
We’ve all seen how this season’s finale ended.
But it’s the end of a new season, and the show has moved on.
In an episode that also took place a week before the show’s last, it was revealed that the final battle had been a fake.
“The battle wasn’t real, but they were pretending,” explained Jon Hamm in a new interview with EW.
“So now, we’re back to normal, and this is just a bit of a shock.”
Hamm was also asked about his character’s reaction to the finale.
“You know, I’m still very sad about it,” he said.
“But, again, it’s a good thing.
I think it’s good to have closure.
It’s good that they got to say goodbye.”
Hamm also addressed the controversy that arose when the finale aired.
“It was a bit much,” he admitted.
“We’re trying to move forward.
It was not an easy decision, and we’ll be back in a little bit of shape and we’ve got a lot more things to work on, but I’m not going to lie.
I’m glad that we didn’t go to a real finale, because I think that would have been a lot of the stuff that happened on the last episode.”
Hamm said that he had been preparing for a different finale this season.
“I was just watching all the different episodes and I was like, ‘Wow, this is pretty much how I’m going to die,'” he said, adding that the decision was made by “some people in the production.”
He was really serious, and he didn’t look at me as a character in this finale. “
He was like a very different actor in this one.
He was really serious, and he didn’t look at me as a character in this finale.
He wasn’t trying to show off his skills.”
Hamm added that he did feel bad for the other actors who got the ending they deserved.
“To me, it wasn’t that big of a deal, but that was one of the things that got to me, because if that was a big deal to me that the writers were trying to do, then that was it,” Hamm said.
It will be interesting to see how this new season ends, because it seems like it’s going to be a long one.
