The latest results of the social media study, published on Friday, reveal that some of the biggest names in the industry have a significant social media following, including Warner Bros, Sony Pictures and Universal Pictures.
As a result, these films are among the most-watched movies on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
These are some of those films that fans have been clamouring for.

The Social Network’s Twitter account has more than 25 million followers, and it is also one of the top five most shared films on Instagram.
In the category of social video, a film such as The Grand Budapest Hotel has almost 1.5 million social video impressions and over 100,000 tweets, making it the most retweeted film of all time.
The top rated films on Facebook are all social, with The Social Experiment and The Martian gaining over 200,000 social videos and 775,000 followers.
Social video has also seen a boost in film industry endorsements with The Martian, which became the second most-liked film of 2016 with more 1.1 million likes.
